Who is Tony?

Elton “Tony” Shyti is the founder of Tony’s Pita — one of London’s most beloved names in Mediterranean street food. Originally from Albania, Tony brings 26 years of hospitality experience from both Greece and the UK. He is passionate about the power of food to bring people together.

In 2018, without investors or celebrity endorsements, he opened the first Tony’s Pita in Swiss Cottage. His commitment to authentic Greek flavours and warm hospitality quickly won the hearts of Londoners, leading to two more locations and multiple British Kebab Awards — including Best Greek Restaurant in London.

Tony also founded Greek Bazaar, a company that imports premium Greek produce to the UK. His mission is simple: serve real food, treat people like family, and stay true to your roots.
